UK Youth

UK Youth is a leading charity working across the UK. We have influence as a sector-supporting infrastructure body, a direct delivery partner and a campaigner for social change.

UK Youth’s new 2025 strategy, “Unlocking Youth Work” outlines a bold ambition to impact young lives by unlocking youth work as a catalyst for change.

We will work in partnership to build a cross-sector movement, creating a society that understands, champions, and delivers effective youth work for all. With an open network of over 8000 youth organisations and nation partners, we are focused on unlocking youth work as the catalyst of change that is needed now more than ever.

Why are you involved with Play Their Way?

UK Youth’s vision is that all young people are equipped to thrive and contribute at every stage of their lives and we work in partnership across all the sectors supporting young people to increase mutual understanding, collaboration and ultimately outcomes for young people. We know that sport and physical activity are key components in young people’s health, happiness and wellbeing but that currently far too many young people have negative experiences. We are delighted to support the Children’s Coaching Collaborative in changing this and ensuring all children are included and can thrive through sport.

At UK Youth we champion the transformative impact of youth work in putting young people’s needs, experiences and perspectives first. This is why we are thrilled to be part of the Children’s Coaching Collaborative’s cross sector movement which is transforming coaching by putting children first and embodying all of the principles of youth work
