ICOACHKIDS is a non-profit global movement which champions sport education, policy and practice that puts KIDS FIRST.
Our vision is a world where every child has access to positive sport experiences that foster a love for sport, play and physical activity.
To achieve this, we have three strategic pillars:
Develop People: Support the development of relevant knowledge and skills for coaches, parents, participants and organisations.
Drive Global Change: Influence policy and practice that puts kids first and recognises the role of youth coaches.
Evidence Impact: Promote an evidence-based approach to the development of policies and practices in youth sport
Why are you involved with Play Their Way?
As a global movement championing sport education, policy and practice that put kids first, the children’s coaches collaborative and it’s child first ethos aligns closely with our values, mission and vision.
Collaborating with like-minded organisations, clubs and individuals in driving the agenda for child-first coaching has long been a core tenet of the ICOACHKIDS family. We are excited to be part of the CCC movement within the UK and look forward to celebrating coaches who are driven by putting children first in sport and physical activity."
